I had a lovely stay at The View Hotel, enjoying the beautiful seaside location. The room was spacious and very comfortable, offering stunning views. However, the dining experience was a bit of a mixed bag with slow service during our meal, which was a challenge with children. Overall, a great spot, but some improvements are needed.

The bar menu offered many tempting items, and the food, when it arrived, was very good. However, ordering took too long, which wasn't ideal with children.

My stay at The View Hotel was pleasant overall, with beautiful views and comfortable accommodations. However, I did experience some issues with parking and dining options that I found a bit disappointing. While the hotel itself was lovely and the staff incredibly friendly, I felt the restaurant prices were quite high. A bit of a mixed bag, but I would recommend the hotel for its charm and location.

Dining

While the dining experience had good quality food, I found the prices excessive and the variety limited, which made dining options a challenge.

Facilities like the breakfast area were well-maintained and served a plentiful buffet, though parking could be problematic and the accessibility for disabled guests was a bit challenging.

I had a great stay at The View Hotel Folkestone overall, especially loved the stunning sea views and the warm service from the staff. The room was spacious and comfortable, but it did get quite warm at times. The breakfast was fantastic, but they might need to keep an eye on food supplies. It's a lovely spot to escape to, with some minor quirks that didn't really overshadow my experience.

Rooms

My room was huge, with a king-sized bed that felt comfortable and luxurious. I loved the view over the sea and cliffs. However, it was stifling hot at times, which made sleeping a bit challenging.

The hotel's location right by the seafront was perfect. I really enjoyed the easy access to the beach and nearby attractions, even though some windows were taped up to prevent drafts.
Dining

Breakfast was a highlight with plenty of delicious options, though there were times when some items seemed to run low. The dinner at The Cliffe was also very enjoyable, with generous portions.

I enjoyed my stay at The View Hotel Folkestone, particularly for its spacious and clean rooms with stunning sea views. The helpful staff made a positive impression, and the breakfast offered a nice variety. However, the parking situation wasn’t ideal as I had to hunt for a spot on the street. Overall, it provided good value for money, especially as a stop before crossing to France.

Rooms
8.0
My room was large, clean, and had a comfy bed with a well-appointed en suite shower. There was also a good tea and coffee tray, which I appreciated.

5.8/10

I had a pleasant stay at The View Hotel Folkestone. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean, providing a lovely view of the sea. However, the hotel lacks dedicated parking, which could be a hassle, especially during busy seasons. I was also disappointed that the advertised 24/7 room service doesn't actually offer food after 9 PM. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience with some room for improvement.

Breakfast had a good variety, though I found the coffee to be a bit bitter. The bar had a vibrant atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a day.
Facilities

The hotel is well-maintained with good common areas, but the lack of parking and restricted room service options were drawbacks.
